Kicking Off Winter, Whistler-Style
Loverboy and Trooper set to rock the pavilion at Whistler Olympic Plaza November 26
Working with resort partners, the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is kicking off the winter season and celebrating the opening of Whistler Blackcomb. Be among the 1,000 lucky people to see Canadian veteran rockers Loverboy with special guests, Trooper, at the Whistler Olympic Plaza pavilion. Limited sale advanced tickets to the concert will be available at Millennium Place for only $10, with proceeds going to the Whistler Food Bank. Gates at Whistler Olympic Plaza will open at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Trooper is set to take the stage at 7:00 p.m. with Loverboy starting at 8:45 p.m. to close out the night. Whistler Olympic Plaza is an outdoor, covered venue so dress warmly.
Don’t forget to shop for your unique holiday gifts at Whistler’s Bizarre Bazaar, featuring over 100 BC artisans. Produced by the Whistler Arts Council and located at the Whistler Conference Centre, Bizarre Bazaar opens at 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, November 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
