“FlyOver Canada is a new major destination visitor attraction opening on Vancouver’s waterfront at Canada Place in Spring 2013. Guests will soar from coast to coast on a breathtaking aerial journey taking in the excitement and grandeur of Canada through the latest in virtual flight ride technology. The experience, a first of its kind in Canada, will appeal to locals and visitors of all ages who wish to see Canada like never before.

Groups of up to 60 guests at a time will strap in and be lifted in front of a large custom spherical screen where they will move in concert to a film with the most stunning vistas of Canada shown from the air. The immersive effect will be complete with the addition of wind, scents, mist and sound.” FlyOverCanada.com

Our very own Sherpas Cinema, of All.I.Can. fame, have spent that last few months soaring across our majestic nation, capturing every angle, aspect and point of view possible to completely capture the authentic nature of Canada. Available to experience in Spring of 2013, the Sherpas have been slaving away in their Function Junction studio to create a mind-blowing sensory adventure to completely view Canada in a way never thought possible. Don’t miss out on their months of hard work and passionate filming; be sure to get to Canada Place next year for the complete journey across the Great North.

The Sherpas came blowing onto the scene with their ski film The Fine Line in 2009, winning a number of awards from “Best Director” (X-Dance 2009), “Best FILM” (Livino Mtn Film Festival 2009, Cold Smoke Awards 2009, and Fernie Mtn Film Festival 2009), “Best Concept” (Powder Awards 2009), “Best Cinematography” (Cold Smoke Awards), to “Official World Tour Selection” (Banff Mountain Film Festival). In 2011 they completed their most incredible feature ski film yet, All.I.Can., premiering to a sold out audience at Whistler’s Conference Centre, and winning an unprecedented number of awards upon release.

Don’t miss out on this exceptional experience, from some of the most talented filmers and editors in the business.
