I am an incredibly fortunate stay-at-home mommy, living deep in the Coast Mountains of Canada.  If I manage to get any free time, I paint. Mostly figurative, always with oils. I derive most of my inspiration from the figure, bringing attention to certain elements of the human form.

I also have a very slow paced blog, written as an attempt to curate a shared resource for parents and educators alike. It’s a fun way to share my thoughts, however, very infrequent.  :)

Otherwise, I just try to take life one day at a time!

The Questions

What neighbourhood do you live in?
Creekside. Pemberton, BC!  Amongst several talented and wonderful folk.

What do you do and where?
I paint, in my garage, blog, at the Whistler Public Library, clean, for money. Every other waking moment, I am, without a doubt, a domestic goddess.

What are you working on?
I am currently rocking my new D-SLR Canon Rebel and recruiting my very own models for some new paintings. If you are interested in posing nude, I am looking for females over the age of 30, all shapes and sizes welcome.  contact:  nat@halieellis.com
