There’s only one week left to register for our LEGO Competiton! This year’s theme will be: “Design Your Ultimate Whistler Hideaway”.

Our prestigious panel of judges includes our Mayor Nancy Wilhelm-Morden, Jeremy Postal of Whistler is Awesome, and Keith and Jessica Reed of the Vancouver LEGO Club. We will have four age categories, with prizes for the top 3 entries in each age group.

Some of our top prizes include a Jeep Adventure from Canadian Wilderness Adventures, Monkido passes from The Adventure Group, and a family Zip Trek pass. There are plenty of other great prizes to be won!

Registration can be done in person at 4333 Main St, by emailing robyn@whistlermuseum.org, or by phoning us at (604) 932-2019. If you stop by the Museum to register, don’t forget to guess the number of pieces in our LEGO jar to win a great prize from The Great Glass Elevator Candy Shop! We will announce the winner on the day of the competition.

Registration costs $5 per child; spots will not be held without payment. Registration includes entrance in the competition, admission to the Whistler Museum, and a goody bag for all participants. All children aged 3-12 are welcome to enter (DUPLO will be provided for the younger children).

Adults need not feel left out, as we will be having our 2nd Annual LEGO Building Competition for Adults later this fall!

We will be employing the Twitter tag #LEGOComp2012 to promote the event. More information is available on our website,www.whistlermuseum.org, or on our blog at blog.whistlermuseum.com.
