The Proof: Tim Hailwood
Tim is a freelance photographer originally from the UK, now based in Whistler, BC. Having completed high school, the next step of University didn’t appeal much to Tim, so he decided to explore his passion for snowboarding and travelled out to Whistler in 2007. During this season Tim became a qualified snowboard instructor and instantly fell in love with the town, the people and the mountainous surroundings.
Since then Tim has spent a lot of time travelling and working around the world but always finds himself coming back to this fairytale town, camera in hand. Over the last few years Tim has been gaining more and more exposure and interest in his work. Tim’s passion lies in the action sports industry, particularly skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking, Tim’s goal is to work full time as a photographer, doing what he loves and living the dream!
